Rutaceae are also known as the rue or citrus family which are the flowering plants that includes herbs, shrubs, and trees. This family has more than 60 types which includes citrus, common rue, and kumquat. This family of plant has been found worldwide. Some of the famous fruits of the family are oranges, lemons, limes, grapefruits, calamansi, mandarin, and kumquat .
